Terms of Service

1. What these terms cover

These terms of service (the "Terms") govern the online fax service offered as FaxRadar at app.faxradar.com (the "Service"). They apply to every order placed through the Service.

The Service is operated by SaaSatura LLC, whose registered address is 1201 N. Orange St., Suite 7665, Wilmington, DE 19801-1186, USA. Company registration number: 10379629 (Delaware).

Before you pay, you accept the Terms and the refund policy by ticking the box provided. The version you accept is recorded with your order.

The editorial content of faxradar.com (reviews, comparisons, guides and tools) is not governed by the Terms.

2. The Service

  • The Service sends the document you upload by fax to the fax number you enter, in the destination countries listed on the pricing page.
  • No account is needed: each fax is a separate order, paid once.
  • Every order has a status page, reached through a private link.
  • The Service only sends faxes. It does not receive them.

3. Placing an order

  1. Document: you add one or more files and, if you wish, a cover page. They are combined in your browser into a single PDF, in the order you choose.
  2. Destination: you choose the country and enter the fax number.
  3. Quote: our servers check the number, count the pages and calculate the price. The quote shows the number of pages, the price of the first page and of each further page, and the total.
  4. Confirmation: you accept the Terms and the refund policy, and confirm that the recipient has agreed to receive the fax and that it is not unsolicited advertising.
  5. Payment: you pay the total shown. The contract is formed when your payment is confirmed.

A quote is valid only for the exact document it was calculated for, from the same browser, for 60 minutes. If the document changes, a new quote is needed.

4. Documents and destinations

  • Accepted formats: PDF, PNG and JPEG. Password-protected PDFs are not accepted.
  • Limits: up to 20 pages and 4 MB per fax. A cover page counts as one page.
  • Output quality: fax is a limited-resolution transmission, usually in black and white. Colors, photos and very small print may be harder to read at the receiving end.
  • Ownership: your documents remain yours. You allow us to process them only to send them. They are processed automatically; FaxRadar does not read their content.

The Service sends faxes to landline fax numbers in the countries shown on the pricing page. Numbers that cannot receive faxes (mobile, premium-rate, shared-cost, personal and non-geographic numbers, voicemail and pager numbers) are refused before payment. Some number ranges may be unavailable. The list of destinations may change.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices depend on the destination: a price for the first page and a lower price for each further page. They are shown on the pricing page and, for each order, in the quote displayed before payment. Every page counts, including a cover page.
  • Prices are shown and charged in the currency of the language in which you use the Service, whatever the destination: US dollars (USD) in English; euros (EUR) in French, German and Spanish; Japanese yen (JPY) in Japanese. The failed-call fee described in section 7 is charged in the same currency ($0.30 + 2.9%, €0.25 + 2.9%, or ¥50 + 2.9%). If your payment method uses another currency, your bank handles the conversion and any related fees.
  • The price you pay is the total shown in the quote at the time of payment. Apart from the failed-call fee described in section 7, FaxRadar charges no other fees.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. FaxRadar never has access to your card details.
  • You can pay with the methods offered in the payment form (including card).
  • You are charged when you confirm the payment. Sending only starts once the payment is confirmed.
  • There is no subscription and no recurring charge: each fax is paid once.
  • If you entered an email address, our payment processor sends you a receipt.

6. Sending and delivery

  • When sending starts: as soon as your payment is confirmed, we call the number you entered through our telecommunications carrier and transmit the document.
  • One attempt: each fax is sent once. If it fails, it is not resent automatically; you can place a new order. If the outcome of a transmission is uncertain, we never resend it automatically, so that a recipient never receives the same fax twice: we check it with our carrier instead.
  • Delivery: a fax counts as delivered when the recipient's fax machine has confirmed receipt, as reported by our carrier. What happens to the fax after that (printing, reading, internal routing) is outside FaxRadar's control.
  • Status page: the status page shows where your order stands (awaiting payment, sending, delivered, failed, refunded or expired), the number of pages, the price, the partly masked number and, where relevant, the amount refunded. Anyone with the link can view it, so keep it and share it with care.
  • Cancellation: until you pay, nothing is owed and you can abandon the order at any time. Once your payment is confirmed, sending starts immediately and the order can no longer be cancelled.

7. Failed faxes and refunds

  • If the fax could not be delivered although the call was attempted (busy line, no answer, a number that is not a fax machine, an interrupted transmission), you are refunded the amount paid minus a non-refundable fee of $0.30 + 2.9%, rounded to the nearest cent (or yen), in the currency of the order.
  • If the fax could not be attempted at all, you are refunded in full.
  • Refunds are automatic and go back to the payment method you used. The details are in the refund policy.

8. Your commitments

  • The recipient has agreed to receive the fax. Do not send unsolicited fax advertising: many countries prohibit it without prior consent.
  • You have the right to send the document, and its content is lawful.
  • The number you enter belongs to the intended recipient.
  • FaxRadar does not offer a Business Associate Agreement under the US HIPAA law. Do not use the Service to send protected health information subject to that law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the number and the content of the document. FaxRadar does not verify who receives the fax.

9. Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to harass or threaten anyone, send unlawful, fraudulent or misleading content, impersonate a person or organization, send faxes in bulk or automatically, test numbers, get around the Service's limits, disrupt how it works, or pay with a payment method you are not authorized to use.

To prevent abuse, the number of quotes and orders is limited per connection and per destination number.

We may refuse a quote or an order, or restrict access to the Service, in case of abuse, suspected fraud, breach of the Terms or a legal obligation. If a paid order is refused before it is sent, it is refunded in full.

10. Availability

  • We work to keep the Service reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. New orders may be paused temporarily, for example for maintenance; faxes already paid for are not affected.
  • Delivery depends on things FaxRadar does not control: the recipient's line and fax machine, telecommunications networks and carriers.
  • The statuses shown come from our carrier's reports.
  • Your document is assembled in your browser, so an up-to-date browser is required.
  • FaxRadar is not liable for delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond its control, such as a network or carrier outage. If a fax fails, the refund policy applies.

11. Liability

FaxRadar performs the Service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FaxRadar's liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and FaxRadar is not liable for indirect loss, for the content of documents sent, for a number entered incorrectly, or for what the recipient does with the fax. Nothing in the Terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

12. Privacy

The Service relies on providers: Stripe for payments, Telnyx for fax transmission, Vercel for hosting the application, Neon for the database and Sentry for technical error monitoring. How we and they handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy and, for cookies, in the cookie policy.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may change the Terms. A new version is published on this page with a new version number. Each order remains governed by the version accepted at the time of payment.
